KeyRing for Parents and Carers
KeyRing understands that it can be difficult to trust other people with the support of your loved one.
We will always be open and honest with you and respect your views.
Many parents and carers would like their son or daughter to become more independent. However, they are worried that in saying this they are opening the door for reduced support with no safety net. This may mean that their loved one can either become more reliant upon them, or at risk of harm. Whilst we don’t want to encourage dependence on support, we don’t believe that independence should mean isolation. This is why supporting people to become involved in the community is so important to us.
All KeyRing Members have access to a help line which is open for twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week. The helpline is able to provide telephone support and to contact local staff if needed. In addition to this support, we also work with people to ensure they know those around them and are therefore able to draw the neighbourly support.
So, with KeyRing you can be assured that your loved one is in the hands of experienced people who care passionately about getting it right.
