Shortlisted for the Winifred Tumim Prize!

KeyRing’s Board has been shortlisted for a Winifred Tumim award. This is a prize awarded by NCVO for improvements in charity governance.

Shortlisted

Members of the board will be at the NCVO conference in November where the winners will be announced.

Karyn Kirkpatrick, KeyRing’s CEO, nominated the Board for their work over the last two years.

“A year ago the Charity Commission launched a new Charity Code of Governance. The KeyRing trustees used the Code to reflect on their work over the previous year as we became an independent organisation again and to plan how they would bring new skills and gifts to the Board so KeyRing could achieve our ambitions.

When I heard about this prize I immediately thought of the fantastic work our trustees had done over the past 2 years and in no time got our application in.

Getting shortlisted is a great honour and recognition for brilliant trustees, fingers crossed for the announcement of the winners on 5th November.”
