Office Administrator in Oldham 

We currently have an exciting opportunity for an Office Administrator to join KeyRing in Oldham. The salary is £9 per hour. This is a 37.5 hour per week permanent role. 

The purpose of this role is to ensure the efficient provision of administrative and support services to the staff, volunteers, Members and Trustees of KeyRing. 

The role will include providing administrative support to the North West Operational Team and providing an effective and efficient first point of contact with all visitors and telephone callers. 

KeyRing are a not for profit organisation and their aim is to support vulnerable people to live independently. We provide support to over 1000 people across England and Wales, from KeyRing networks to Self Advocacy. 

The person appointed will have a ‘can-do’ approach and will have the opportunity to use their own ideas and initiative within the role. KeyRing emphasises a team approach but you will be expected to take on individual pieces of work as well as on-going tasks. 

Job Role: 
• Reception duties 
• To provide administrative support to the North West Operational Team 
• To answer the phone in a friendly way and deal with messages and calls appropriately. 
• To play a key role in communicating and disseminating information to members of the team. 
• Typing various documents for Team e.g. reports, minutes, letters, supervision notes, etc. 
• To undertake any other clerical or administrative duties required. 

Required Skills: 
• Proven ability to use Microsoft Word. 
• Proven ability to type accurately. 
• An appreciation of the importance of attention to detail and accuracy. 
• The ability to manage a varied workload and to prioritise work effectively. 
• A flexible approach to work and the willingness to assist others in the team. 
• Excellent time keeping. 
• Discretion in handling confidential information.

Support Co-ordinator in Oldham 

We are looking for an experienced support coordinator to join the KeyRing Network in Oldham. 

This vacancy is a permanent part-time role of 22.5 hours per week and the salary is £11.73 per hour  

 

We are looking for someone with excellent communication skills and IT skills are essential. 

Must be able to work on your own initiative and as part of a large team. 

The Support Co-ordinator Work alongside the local Managers, sharing responsibility for the delivery of services and management of staff and volunteers across Oldham.   

Support Co-ordinator will 

  • Have an understanding of the needs of vulnerable adults. 
  • Committed to people being included in their communities and able to access all local services. 
  • Have experience in a relevant area  
  • Have a willingness to try new activities  
  • Approach situations flexibly with a sense of enthusiasm 
  • Act in a logical, considerate and calm manner when under pressure 
  • Have good organisational skills   
  • The ability to explain concepts clearly 
  • Committed to operating in a way which is inclusive, non-discriminatory and promotes equality in everything you do.
