Community Living Volunteer in North Bristol
We are looking for Community Living Volunteer in our Staple Hill network in North Bristol area who can give 14 hours per week of 'good neighbour' support to the KeyRing Members who live locally in their own homes within the area.
As a Community Living Volunteer you do need to live in the Network area in order to offer the flexible local support and to know the local community resources well. KeyRing can provide accommodation in the Network area if required.
KeyRing provides support for vulnerable people to live independently in their own homes, including housing brokerage and community inclusion. Our support includes structured tenancy related support; good neighbourly help; help with getting to know the community better; and the facilitation of meeting new friends and maintaining such relationships. We work to enable KeyRing Members to take control over their lives, make informed choices and decisions, to create their own personal networks of support, find meaning in their lives and contribute as active citizens
What are we looking for?
Community Living Volunteers give advice, information and support to KeyRing Members and help them lead ordinary lives and to make connections in their local community. We are looking for volunteers who can offer support in a flexible and creative way.
The Volunteer will help to run the Staple Hill KeyRing Hub. The role may involve some traveling to neighbouring areas such as Downend and Emerson Green.

Good communication and interpersonal skills with an ability to communicate effectively with a wide variety of people, including service users, their families, staff and professionals.
Volunteering with KeyRing can:
- Provide CV enhancing experience
