Bexley Service

In the Bexley borough we have two community hubs:

  • Wednesday Afternoon (2pm-5pm) in Erith Library
  • Thursday afternoon (2pm-5pm) in Sidcup Library.

The hubs are a chilled environment with Members who always welcome new faces. We do fun activities like discussions and games and are planning future events with exciting speakers coming to talk about different topics. With summer coming up, we plan to do more outdoor activities too. The hubs have a lovely atmosphere to make new friends and socialise with.

You can get support at the hubs from our approachable Community Enablers. They can help you with support needs in the hub as well as offering one to one support outside of the hub if you need it.

The hubs also have access to I.T. facilities, the Internet and access to a phone if you need help with something over the phone. With great transport links to get to the hubs, the hubs are easy to find in Erith and Sidcup. Please feel free to pop along for a chat and to get to know some new people!

Sometimes things happen

We can offer ‘Intensive Support’ for 4 hours a week for 12 weeks. This is to help Members who need more support. This can be with things like urgent issues with their tenancy, developing a Member’s ability to maintain their independence, providing support after the sudden loss of family support, assisting Members who have had a sudden reduction in income or to support Members with urgent health issues.
