Community support

All of our support is tailored to the community in which we work. We make great use of existing resources in the area and connect people into them. This means better outcomes for the people we support and better value for money.

We do not want to reinvent the wheel. Building independence is all about connecting people with their community and ensuring that they are sharing their skills for the benefit of their peers and the community itself. The more connected people are the less they rely on support.

We create independence not reliance.

Community support services aim to provide support to people to build those connections as well as build their own independence.

Our community support services can support with:

  • advice
  • housing and tenancy related issues
  • income maximisation
  • signposting
  • making connections with people and communities
  • mental wellbeing
  • physical wellbeing

Support is provided through a combination of 1:1 support, group work and peer support.
