Support from the European Social Fund

KeyRing has secured just under £20,000 funding from the European Social Fund.

The Getting Going project will support people, particularly those with learning disabilities, in Oldham to get closer to the workplace.

Working Well 2019 recognised that people with learning disabilities find it difficult to get work in Oldham.

We will work with small groups of people to move them closer to the workplace by developing their skills and confidence. Each person will be supported by a volunteer mentor who will help them get the most from the course.

They will also be able to access some support with any practical issues that might get in the way of them working. We will adapt the project to suit the learner's needs.

The first course will start on the 8th December and is now full. The second cohort will start the course on the 9th February.

The project is based on work completed by Catch 22. Catch 22 design and deliver public services that build resilience and aspiration in people and communities.
