A Living Wage Employer

Posted on

In May 2021 we committed to paying the real living wage. The real Living Wage is higher than the government’s minimum, or National Living Wage, and is an independently calculated hourly rate of pay that is based on the actual cost of living.

The real Living Wage, as set by the Living Wage Foundation, is the only wage rate based on the cost of living. In September 2022 the real living wage foundation announced the new hourly rates for the Real Living Wage. Across the UK the rate is £10.90, a £1.00 rise, and £11.95 in London, an uplift of 90p.

We are pleased to share that our board of trustees has agreed to this increase for our teams ensuring that nobody in KeyRing is paid less than the real Living Wage.
