New guide to prison visits for neurodivergent people

Posted on

Everyone who wants to visit a loved one in prison should be able to. But we know that for some neurodivergent visitors, or parents of neurodivergent children, it can feel impossible due to worries about the unknown environment, the questions around security processes, or concerns that the prison just won't be able to meet their child's needs.

We worked with the Prison Advice and Care Trust (Pact) on a new guide, launched today,  to support neurodivergent people who are visiting a loved one in prison.

The guide provides information about things like what will happen when you visit a prison, and how to ask for adjustments to make the process easier.
