What this means for commissioners
KeyRing’s flexible, community-based model demonstrates preventative impact and credible savings across health and social care. The Colligo analysis evidences outcomes that matter locally—reduced pressure on statutory services, improved wellbeing and independence, and better value for money—providing a clear, defensible basis for commissioning decisions.
It also provides clear evidence that key savings are made in the local authority as well as in the Department for Work and Pensions, health services and the Ministry of Justice.
How the analysis was done
Colligo Labs built a five-year economic model using KeyRing’s Lambeth data and updated evidence. To ensure accuracy, gaps were filled and validated with area teams (e.g., health, work, benefits/budgeting, criminal justice, and demographics). The inputs included updated satisfaction tools (e.g., WEMWBS), presenting needs, contract and true delivery costs, and HR time data. The approach uses conservative assumptions and aligns to HM Treasury’s Green Book guidance.
